Robert Gordon has contributed his personal papers, including thousands of sketches and architectural drawings to University Archives and Special Collections Paul V. Galvin Library at Illinois Institute of Technology. It is a resource open to educators and researchers in architecture and planning from all over the world.

The Robert Gordon digital collection will consist of examples of materials from the Robert Phillip Gordon Papers, including material from each of the series in the collection (biographical, architecture, artwork, city planning, park design and books and publications.) The purpose of the digital exhibit is to provide a visual overview of the collection to prospective researchers and web searchers who might not otherwise encounter it, as well as to provide additional context, information, and commentary to the scanned materials, enriching users’ understanding of the collection as a whole.

An oral history interview with Robert Gordon is also available through the Paul V. Galvin Library Archive.

For further information on the Robert Gordon archive, at the Paul V. Galvin Library Archive contact Adam Strohm or Ralph Pugh.
